The Talon has been the school newspaper of East Lake High School, located in Tarpon Springs, Florida,  since 1987.  The print issue comes out six times a year, and the website will be updated at least once a week.   The Talon staff recognizes itself as an open forum and welcomes a free exchange of ideas from students, school personnel, and the community. A factual, informative, and entertaining newspaper and website will be produced; however, material will not be obscene or promoting disruption in school.
