With the festive season rolling in and the weather getting chilly, what better way to stay warm and toasty than a cup of steaming hot chocolate? As favorable as drinking powdered hot chocolate in the comfort of making them at home is, these mouth-watering hot cocoas are simply too hard to resist. They are so worth grabbing a coat and some slippers to go and taste. I went to an assortment of places to gather the best of the best hot chocolates. They range from right around the corner to a trip to Orlando. Nonetheless, if you are ever wondering where to find the perfect hot drink or are a hot chocolate enthusiast, this list is for you.

  1. Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate

Starbucks. (Tall $3.25)

This drink is actually a liquid cookie and is my absolute favorite. Different from most hot cocoas, it is made from white chocolate, cinnamon dolce syrup and topped with a dash of cinnamon sugar. Its smooth and cozy taste makes it the perfect drink to indulge. The snickerdoodle flare comes from the cinnamon dolce syrup that transform the foamy white chocolate into heaven in every swallow. One sip warms your entire body with the festive holiday season. Whether it is 90 degrees or 50, this drink is perfect for that sweet craving.

  1. Signature Hot Chocolate

Panera Bread ( $2.99)

Bittersweet chocolate flavored syrup mixed with steamy frothy milk and topped with whipped cream, salted caramel syrup, and three chocolate chip marshmallows, it tastes as good as it looks. Sipping it brings a thick dark chocolate taste that is consistent throughout with a rich after taste. The salted caramel syrup adds a bit of sweetness to the drink that brings out the bitter chocolate. This drink is definitely for the chocolate lovers.

  1. Sea Salt Caramel Hot Chocolate

Ghirardelli (Regular $4.25)

Located at the Ghirardelli shop in Disney Springs, this drink often gets overshadowed by the options of ice cream flavors and delicious sundaes. It savory chocolate flavor lives up to the Ghirardelli name. It is topped with whipped cream, drizzles of caramel sauce, and dashes of sea salt. Even though the drink itself does not have the sea salt and caramel incorporated in the drink, stirring it throughout gives an even, subtle zing in every sip. This twist on a classic drink brings back memories of homemade hot chocolate over the stove on cold nights. It is excellent for a chilly night at Disney Springs to walk down and enjoy all the Christmas decorations and music.
