Many people know that you need to drink water in order to live, but some don’t take it seriously and only drink water in small amounts without knowing that water is truly very important for their daily life. There are many health benefits that come from drinking water and also it is simply very refreshing.

There are many factors that go into how much water an individual needs because of different climates, their current state of physical activity, and if they are currently experiencing an illness or a health condition. Looking at a normal temperature place, the average man would end up needing 15.5 cups a day and a woman would need 11.5 cups a day. Keep in mind the water you get doesn’t exactly depend in the cups you drink as many foods specifically fruits and vegetables contain water as well as some beverages. Some vegetables are cucumber, spinach, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, etc. There are also fruits like tomatoes, oranges, apples, and many more that contain water.

Now that you know how much you need, we will go over as to why you need it or the results you get from drinking the average amount of water. The water you drink helps the body regulate the body temperature. When you are able to do that, the body is able to keep moisture in important areas, further protecting your tissues, spinal cord and joints. You are also aided in the digestion process and what you eat is broken down better allowing you to get the important nutrients. Once that is done water is also used to eliminate waste that being through perspiration, urination, and defecations. Not only does it help with your normal day but with your thinking. Taking a sip of water can help your brain function better and helps you focus.

Next time, choose your drink or food properly as your daily life can be affected if you were to not drink enough water. Not only would your organs, bones and tissue benefit from it, but the most complex and important thing in you body benefits greatly, the brain. Water is the most essential thing for us so don’t take it for granted.
