Many of us don’t realize how involved it is in our lives whether it be in sports, relaxing or even just our daily lives. Water is the driving force through most of our lives, despite our unknowingness or willingness to realize it. Water is the element of peace and serenity; it brings life to us especially Florida.

The water is all around us is our beaches where we play and relax from the stress and complications of our daily lives. But most of us take this for granted as it has become integrated into our lives just as school has, and most people lack the appreciation for the water that provides this integral part of our lives. These waters provide us with the opportunities for a variety of activities. Of course many of us go on fishing trips or wakeboarding not stopping to this twice how the water has made these things part of our personalities. Florida even has many aquifers that provide most of the state’s water supply, which is just some of the Florida history that fades out of memory as we age.

Just as people take it for granted, no one stops to think how it would change our lives if it was gone. The water gives character to our peninsula just as you are defined by your interests. The water flows through our society and our lives as it’s slipped its way into people’s hearts as they choose to play, live and retire to it. Right now it is at risk for pollution which could damage it forever. For some the water has become more than that as more people forget its importance the more we are at risk to lose it forever.
