Being a senior here at East Lake High School I am 100 percent certain that students at our school more than any other do not understand how to walk in hallways or use common curtesy at all. On more than one occasion I have fallen witness to people walking smack into each other, something that not only doesn’t make sense logically. Seriously look up for the minute it takes to walk to class, but logistically it doesn’t make any sense either. Much like driving, you stay on the right side and turn into halls when it makes sense to do so, as to not the be  the victim of someone much larger than you walking down the hall way running right into you. Being someone who is larger than the average hallway walker, I can assure that you do not want me to hit you in the hallway. I take pride in the fact that I know how to walk correctly in hallways, so If you hit me or I run into you don’t expect a, “Oh golly gosh, I truly am sorry for this random occurrence, do you require medical attention?” Instead you should expect an exclamation closer to a large amount air coming out mouth sighing at the mere occurrence of seeing and being a part of your incompetence and, without losing my stride, focus or anything else for that matter, continuing onwards towards my class. I highly recommend you read an article on the Talon website by Antonio Amram, teaching you and expressing his own anger and angst when it comes to the failures of the East Lake High School students.

NOTE: This does not apply to everyone, I assume the average person at East Lake knows how to walk but these outliers, modern day Neanderthals, should be pointed out and sent to some sort of walking rehab perhaps. Somewhere where they can be with others like them and they can learn and progress together.
