There hasn’t been an NFL game in over seven months. The last game was Super Bowl 54. It was on February 2,2020. There won’t be any preseason games at all this season. It is due to the obvious pandemic that is still going on.

The NFL will allow fans only at a few stadiums. The teams that will allow fans at stadiums are the Browns, Cowboys, Colts, Jaguars, Chiefs, and Dolphins. The teams that won’t allow fans at start are the Cardinals, Falcons, Ravens, Bills, Panthers, Bears, Bengals, Broncos, Lions, Packers, Texans, Raiders, Chargers, Rams, Vikings, Patriots, Saints, Giants, Jets, Eagles, Steelers, 49ers, Seahawks, Buccaneers, Titans, and the Washington Football Team.

Some interesting quarterback matchups are Drew Brees versus Tom Brady which will happen twice this season. This Sunday on September 13 will feature an NFL first. It will be the first matchup of two starting quarterbacks age 40 or older in NFL history. A highly anticipated rookie match-up will be Joe Burrow, who plays for the Cincinnati Bengals, versus Tua Tagovailoa for the Miami Dolphins. Another interesting matchup will be Patrick Mahomes for the Kansas City Chiefs versus Lamar Jackson of the Ravens. The Seahawks’ Russell Wilson versus the Falcons’ Matt Ryan. Ryan,35, is 5-2 versus the Seattle Seahawks including the postseason. The Colts, Phillip Rivers will versus the Jaguars’ Gardner Minshew. This is the first game Phillip Rivers will not start for the Chargers, his former team.

Some teams who may win the Super Bowl are the Chiefs, Saints, Bucs, Eagles, and the Texans. The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions. The Saints could win a Super Bowl because of a good defense and offense. The Bucs may win a Super Bowl simply because of Tom Brady. The Eagles may win the Super Bowl because they went to the Super Bowl two years ago and won their first championship. The Texans may win because Deshaun Watson may be an elite quarterback.
