Seven weeks have come and gone. The season is almost halfway over. Most teams will have played seven or eight games.

Carson Wentz went out and played a great game against the Eagles’ biggest rivals, the New York Giants. He threw for 359 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Boston Scott and Greg Ward caught a touchdown from Wentz. On the other side of things, Daniel Jones didn’t have as a solid performance. He threw for 187 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate had the receiving touchdowns for New York. James Bradberry had the Giants’ interception. Meanwhile, Jalen Mills had Philly’s lone interception. With the performance by Carson Wentz, he led them to victory over the Giants. The Eagles won 22-21.

Drew Brees had his usual good performance. He threw for 287 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Deonte Harris and Jared Cook had caught a pass from Mr. Brees. On the opposite end, Teddy Bridgewater didn’t throw for as many yards. He threw for 254 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. With Brees throwing for more yards than Bridgewater, he led the Saints to victory over Carolina. The Saints won 27-24.

Patrick Mahomes had a quiet but good performance. Tyreek Hill had the lone receiving touchdown for the Chiefs. Unlike Patrick Mahomes, Drew Lock didn’t have a stellar performance. He threw for 254 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Daniel Sorensen and Tyrann Mathieu each both got an interception. With Drew Lock throwing two interceptions, Patrick Mahomes helped the Chiefs to victory over the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs won 43-16.

Next week, it will be the halfway point of the season. With the Eagles winning on Thursday Night Football, they took over first place in the NFC East. With the Saints winning over Carolina, they are now a win away from being tied with Tampa Bay for first place in the NFC South. With the Chiefs winning, they separated themselves from the rest of the AFC West.
