This past Sunday had some interesting things happen. For example, the Eagles benched Carson Wentz in favor of rookie Jalen Hurts while the Jets lost twelve straight.

Derek Carr came out and played a great game. He threw for 381 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Henry Ruggs caught a touchdown pass. Darren Waller caught two receiving touchdown passes. Meanwhile, Sam Darnold didn’t have a as outstanding performance. He threw for 186 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Jamison Crowder caught both receiving touchdowns for the Jets. Trayvon Mullen had the lone interception for the Raiders. Arthur Maulet had the interception for the Jets. With Derek Carr throwing for more yards than Sam Darnold, he led the Raiders to victory, 31-28.

Baker Mayfield went out and played a great game. He threw for 334 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones, and Kendall Lamm all caught a receiving touchdown. Ryan Tannehill had a slightly worse performance than Mayfield. He threw for 389 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Corey Davis, Cameron Batson, and MyCole Pruitt each caught a receiving touchdown. M.J Stewart had the lone interception for the Browns. Despite Baker Mayfield throwing for fewer yards than Tannehill and throwing an interception, he led the Browns to victory. The Browns won, 41-35.

Aaron Rodgers went out and played one of his best games. He threw for 295 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Robert Tonyan caught a receiving touchdown. Davante Adams caught two receiving touchdowns. Meanwhile, on the Eagles side of things, Carson Wentz didn’t play very much. Jalen Hurts replaced Carson Wentz. Hurts will start next Sunday against the Saints. He threw for 109 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Greg Ward had the lone receiving touchdown. Darnell Savage had the interception for the Packers. With Aaron Rodgers throwing for more yards than the Eagles quarterbacks, he led the Packers to victory. The Packers won, 30-16.

Alex Smith went out and played a great game against the Steelers. He threw for 296 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. Logan Thomas caught the lone receiving touchdown for Washington. Meanwhile, Ben Roethlisberger didn’t have an outstanding performance. He threw for 305 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Diontae Johnson and James Washington both each caught a receiving touchdown pass. Jon Bistic had the interception for Washington. Despite Alex Smith throwing for fewer yards than Ben Roethlisberger, he led Washington to victory. Washington won, 23-17 ending Pittsburgh’s unbeaten streak.

This weekend will help decide some of the playoff seeding. For example, the Titans play the Jaguars, and the Browns play the Ravens. These games could decide the first wild card and the last division leader seed in the AFC. The Packers play the Lions, which could help the Packers win the NFC North.
