Alvarado, 25, was acquired on December 29,2020, in a three-team trade that sent Garrett Cleavinger from Philly to the Dodgers and minor leaguer Dillon Paulson and a player to be named later from the Dodgers to the Rays. Moore,31, returned to the US from Japan, and on February 3,2021, signed a one-year,$3 million deal with the Phillies. The Phillies are projected to be in 4th place in the NL East. The Mets, Braves, and Nationals have all improved this offseason. The Phillies last season were 28-32, in 3rd place in the NL East. I agree with projections of the Phillies in 4th place in the NL East because of the Mets, Braves, and Nationals all improving this offseason.
